Has been our go-to place for the best Chinese dishes in Central Ohio since the 80's, first starting at Hunan House, now as Hunan Lion on Bethel. Owners Jason & Allison are amazing hosts, and now brother Joey has joined them.....making the food and experience even better! (Not that we thought that could be possible). Shawn (server) is a consummate professional that is one of the best in Columbus. We'd go every week if my waistline could afford it!

We loved coming with family who didn't see each other often. It was warm and friendly there w/excellent meals/food. We've already missed 4 of such gatherings and are hoping by the end of June we can resume coming there again. No other place we tried compares. Our favorite server/waiter was Sean. Hope he'll be back also.

I would give 10 stars on all if I could! Great food, service, and atmosphere. Ate here 2 days in a row while visiting Columbus for several days. True traditional tasty Chinese fare complete with jasmine tea, chopsticks, and fortune cookies. Thai options available and excellent. Great place to have a relaxing meal with colleague, friend, or family. Peaceful music. Comfortable setting. Very vegetarian friendly. Happy to convert any meat or seafood dish to vegetarian. Eggplant dishes awesome! Soups and dumplings dumplings delicious! Scallop, shrimp, and calamari dishes also great. Perfect preparation. See photos!

First time trying food from here. Take out order. The inside of restaurant is gorgeous and clean. Staff that I interacted with was very friendly. I ordered black pepper steak with added bean sprouts and crab rangoon. They also gave me a pint of free fried rice since it was my first time at their restaurant. The food was delicious and the beef very tender. I prefer sweet crab rangoon which it wasn’t, but that’s ok. When my health is better I am definitely going to go back and eat a meal at the restaurant, until then it’ll be on my list for take out or delivery (if available).

Awesome. I got rid of onions and peppers cuz I hate those. I love carrots and pineapple . Love the sauce right thickness not runny and very sweet and yummy

Although not my favorite of the many excellent Asian Restaurants in the area, at this level it’s more a matter of personal taste. I do like my food a bit spicier, but this is an outstanding restaurant.

Ordered the Wonton soup and Hunan combination as well as the General Tso Chicken. All was delicious and came out quickly. Sign on door as well as internet hours say they are open til 9. They close at 830. Will definitely be back to try something new.
